To get to know me and what I’m about I figured I’d better add some info about me.
That said – I have a post called ‘Introduction’, which does go more into my
IM career and how I operate.
So feel free to read that for a personal level.

Therefore I thought on this page I would keep things more business related
and post my CV, which you’ll find below.

This will give you a feel for my skill sets and experience, and is more intended
as a guide for anyone wishing to hire me as a consultant to aid with their
own business.

Naturally I’ve learned from mistakes as well as successes. So I’m sure my range

A result driven Sales Professional with a demonstrable record of sales,
new business and revenue through a highly motivated, achievement

from Items of Furniture to Home Improvement products, through to services
in the Telecommunications/ Hi-tech Sector.

* Heading a team of Ten Territory Managers/sales people, along with Tele-sales
and support staff.
* Reports and presentations to the Sales & Marketing Manager and Director
* Working with Inter-departmental Management and Teams on strategies and
future planning.
* Managing ongoing training and recruitment projects
* Delivering sales & marketing plans to achieve targets

Key Achievements:- (NTL)
Maintained top three ranking on personal sales
* Promoted to Sales Team Manager 1997
* Recruited and Trained two ten-person sales teams (some of whom had no
previous sales experience.)
* Trained and developed Tele-sales operation
* Maintained highest earning sales team
* Was a key player in making NTL nee Comcast the dominant Telephony
supplier on Teesside with
a penetration of 60% compared to the UK average of 25-30%, from a zero base

* Recruited, trained and managed a seven man sales team
* Negotiation and acquisition of sites and venues for exhibition stands

* Youngest salesman to be promoted to District Manager (1987) in the company’s
seventeen year history
