Well after being partied out last week – we had yet more evenings out and late nights!
Rachel had both her parents birthdays last week AND her sister’s engagement do!
(Good food and good company all round)

I then had an interview with Dawn Kay which was fun, I’m sure you’ll see it soon on her blog
A day in John Thornhill’s office with a couple of guys who I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of soon
And a middle of the night webinar with Omar Martin for His ‘MyUnfairAdvantage‘ members!

Plus we had Bonfire night to attend… just a night of watching some cool fireworks, a bonfire and then a family takeaway with Rachel, her girls and their Dad

So yeah – nothing much done to my sites as usual…lol
Thankfully they mostly tick over on autopilot and enough keeps coming in to pay the bills.
That said – If I was my own outsourcer – I think I’d fire myself for not being better organised!! – I really should have got more done, but hey… Life is for living

This morning involved a trip to the dentist and yeah – yet another appointment for yet another filling…. NOT looking forward to that!

If you are a ClickBank vendor you will realise that you can only have affiliates promote one product via your standard ‘hoplink’.

This can be quite frustrating, especially if you want to create discount pages for your affiliates to promote.
And even more frustrating if an affiliate approaches you and asks if you can set up a personalised discount page.

Well John Thornhill and Dave Nicholson had the exact same problem when a big name guru asked for a special discount page to promote one of their products they were selling via ClickBank.

They knew that they couldn’t set the page up via ClickBank. So Dave got to work and created a product that enabled a page special personalised discount page to be set up and ClickBank Affiliate Master was born.

Yep … How frustrating for me…
I actually have emails from people asking me when they can buy it!
BUT I still haven’t finished the pages enough to let them be seen yet

I nearly got there – then realised I had some products I wanted to add as extra unadvertised bonuses..
So I added the graphics – but now need to add them to the Autoresponder etc.
Then I saw the complete product (which I have as a complete download) I also added as a view online option….
Those videos all open in a new page, and there are 10 short videos, so each of those pages needs editing…

I seem to have a packed email today

What a stressful day yesterday was!
I had Rachel and one of her girls round in need of TLC, They’ve both been feeling under the weather!
There seems to be some sort of viral flu going around again. Yes – I have it too – but being self employed, we can’t afford to be ill and have man flu like normal guys

So I’ve still been rushing around trying to get updates done, Work on some sites, and at the same time make coffees and food while wrapping presents and rushing to the post office hoping they can deliver still with all the horrible weather we’ve got in the UK!
Not quite my usual chilled out plodding along …lol ..But hey – Christmas comes but once a year

Hi Everyone,

Well today is an easy day to know where to start….

With a massive THANK YOU to ALL those who have served in any conflict to protect our freedoms!
It’s 11th November so Millions of people across the country have observed a two-minute silence to mark Armistice Day.

Seriously – without the sacrifice so many have made in so many conflicts (even since the 1st world war) – just how much freedom would we all have to blog, to moan about hackers, to speak freely, spend time with loved ones and basically enjoy the freedoms we all have to complain about any and everything we can think of?

So as I sit here and write an update of what I’ve managed to get done with my sites…. I’m reminded that no matter how bad thiongs may have seemed to appear over the last month or so…… Things could be so much different!
So thank you to those who fought for our freedoms and are still living, and thank you to those who are remembering family and friends who have died protecting our freedom. And thank you to those who have long since been forgotten – we may not remember you often, but we still appreciate the sacrifice you made!

Ok – I wanted to get my thanks added before I move on to where I’m at since the hacking.

I’ve l;ost all the sites Pete and I had built together as he had the backups for those – but on a positive note, I have all my own sites back up and running now

I’ve also been spending a good bit of time finding and sending former WizardResponder customers their mailing lists for them to import to their new autoresponder services. If you had a list with wizard and still haven’t cancelled your account and got it touch, Please do so!
Cancel your payments and send me a support ticket so I can get your list to you.

I have been cancelling paypal payments as and when they come in, but I didn’t have control of the clickbank account to do the same… So please ensure you cancel any subscription still outstanding

Finally – I’ve been looking at creating a new product to re-establish myself on a few marketers radars, and when it’s done I’ll let my list know as well as getting in touch with those who’ve offered help and support

I’ve also got back into my forum rounds and checking product launches as I always did…. That said – I’ve not seen anything that’s impressing me enough to make any recommendations as yet (shame as I could certainly use the commissions…haha), and I don’t intend to start recommending sites just for the money or if I’ve not had a good look at them! (Naturally I’m still getting JV requests – but either they haven’t sent the promised review copies, or I’ve not had time to take a proper look yet… but that should change soon I hope…lol)

So that was me – work wise

On the home front it’s been a great week or two
Halloween was Rachel and my two year anniversary, so we had an evening out and went to the closing down night of the pub where we met

Then 5th Nov I had fun with Cameron and my ex Sara at a firework display for bonfire night, and the Saturday Rachel and I went to York for a friends birthday party… So life seems to be getting back to normal, just with smaller budgets at the moment…lol
Somehow or other I do seem to be managing to pay my bills and come across a few bargains that I’m putting away for all my grandchildrens Christmas presents, so I’m definitely back to my normal self in terms of loving life and living it with passion. In fcat Rachel and I are away for the weekend again, thanks to the generosity of some friends who have arranged a weekend treat for us. Thankfully it’s all friends I’ve done favours for in the past so I don’t need to feel like a pauper…hehe

Speaking of friends generosity… I had a few people pay for last saturdays Northallerton Meet Up…. and didn’t come. I appreciate the gesture guys – but I really don’t want charity.
Two points – 1, If you send me money I expect you to get value in return and would feel bad if you didn’t. 2, There are plenty more people so much worse off than I am who could do with your charity.
(I don’t mean to sound ungrateful – but I’d rather help Dr.Mani save another life than take a few dollar to spend on my bills… I sometimes feel I have a charmed life, as even though things can get bad – I always find a way through and bounce back, so this latest carry one will soon fall into the memories of one of those times)

* What About You?… (Last Saturdays Meet Up)

I think I mentioned firther up about people who paid and didn’t come to last saturdays meet up…
In fairness I already knew the likes of Peggy Baron wouldn’t be coming from the U.S.A. lol

So in the end there were 5 of us sitting around chatting. Other than the ‘what happened Randy’? and related questions, we diod manage to ask what the guys who don’t have a regular income were doing etc.

It still seems to be the case that people buy all sorts of programs hoping they will lead to their salvation and freedom – only to find they either need more tech knowledge, more experience or even more products to understand what they’re trying to do….!!!

So my advice was pretty basic but solid.
Get into a site like MoreMonthlyPlus.info and find a niche you’re interested in. Grab as many of the products with PLR or MRR rights, study them, create a freebie to use as a front end list builder, get an autoresponder account – use the PLR to create a product to sell, get some affiliate links on your freebie download page, and take action!
With forum posts, safelists, traffic exchanges etc. as well as asking the people you are already friends with in forums – you should be able to start to build your own list and make some sales….
Then just keep on keeping on until you can use profits to fund new purchases and expand on what you have.

Sounds very simple I know – and it does require some effort , but it’s the simplest way I know to guarantee getting results without any major purchases.
The main point being to get started! … advanced stuff can be left until you’re ready for it… why clog up your brain with it now when all you really need is the foundations of a business to get going

Here’s hoping you’re having a great week
I’m about to head off for a BBQ with Rachel and some friends and family.
But before I did I wanted to get this post out. Yep – working on a Sunday again…lol
(when I wrote and emailed this…lol)

I don’t normally like to work on a Sunday – But as well as Dr.Mani’s link now being live, I had some updates that had to get done.
(Especially as Rachel and I are taking the girls to the seaside for a weeks holiday on Friday!)

I finally managed to finish moving all my downloads (nearly a thousand) from http://www.MoreMonthly.com onto some space at Amazon S3!
It’s taken weeks – but will save me a heap of cash on the hosting.
The site was so big it needed a dedicated server of it’s own!
And with already having one for http://www.WizardResponderPro.com
I didn’t want to be paying for another.. So now we will be downsizing our other sites to a smaller hosting account while keeping the dedicated server for WizardResponder!

(All our sites would have fit on the same one – but Pete and I are very aware that we didn’t want anything to upset the delivery rates of our clients email marketing… hence we keep Wizard completely separate!)

Anyways – other than that I have been doing a lot of blog hopping, as I’m sure a few of my readers will have noticed, as part of the 100 blog challenge I’ve mentioned.

This is new to me, so I’m not sure how much it will benefit us as yet….
But Dr.Mani recommended it so I took a look:)

It’s a new social site that is fr’ee to join. AND – it’s yet more links back to my sites,
(So it can’t be a bad thing)
What makes it somewhat fun is that you can buy  and sell shares in each other (NOT real ca$h!!)
