I seem to have left it for a couple of weeks AGAIN!
OK, I reckon I have a good excuse for not posting….. I’ve not had a lot to mention…haha

Seriously – I’ve not seen anything being promoted that I wanted to pass on.
Well possibly – but others were offering better bonuses than I could put together, so I left them to it…lol
And anything else just hasn’t been worth promoting in my opinion!

Plus I’ve been beavering away on my own ‘local’ sites, to offer Web Services to businesses in my own town, Along with  Northallerton Ads Business Directory , I’ve also been building a web services site, (I know – I mentioned it two weeks ago, and yes, I’m still getting my head around all the pages and options in the theme I’m using!)

Whilce I’ve been working away on that, I have seen a good number of new subscribers come in via Push Button giveaways,  And ALL I did was push a few buttons just like the site says http://www.randolfsmith.com/likes/PBG2
So that will always get a permanent mention to anyone looking to add to their list size!
I’ve also had some commissions coming in from Keiths latest offering – the Super Affiliate Page software I did the video tour of last time (check the post prior to this one if you’d like to see inside), and
Video Sales Letters ABC has been steadily bringing in new customers.

So all in all it’s been productive couple of weeks even though I’ve been busy working on other sites.

I’ve finally got around to posting again due to seening two opposites in my inbox these last few days!

On the one hand – I have seen a couple of bargain offers that will surely help (and bought these myself), and on the other I’ve seen yet more ‘actors’ with heaps of cash trying to convince us that we can push a button or two to make big bucks!

So I figured I’d have my ‘Ramble’ about these below….lol

* CB’s New Ethical rules… Right

Well here we go!
I’m sure most people have seen clcikbanks new rules to supposedly stop the scammers and con men taking our cash?

Well after seeing a few big names promting this offer, I began to wonder so I checked them myself.
Particularly the parts about:
“We Will NOT Allow: Videos that portray or reference a fictionalized individual or life story, where a vendor makes false claims as part of the product pitch.”

And this part:
“We Will Allow: Videos and testimonials containing actors telling the vendor’s actual experience/story (either 1^st or 3^rd person).  Must use a disclaimer that the person in the video is an actor representing the vendor’s actual experience.”

So Without having bought the product and without prejudice to whether it’s a good or bad product….. I’m curios!!!!!!!!!!!

WHERE on these pages does it say this guy is an actor?
The first site ISN’T on CB, it’s on plimus (which is an alternate provider that a lot of banned suites went to after being kicked off CB)

The thing that struck me was that ‘Martin’ was on both pages – and yet he isn’t the product created according to google – it is a couple of other guys!

Hence my question about CB’s new rules?
It might just be that I’ve misinterpreted them, it might be that the product is great, I’m not giving an opinion on it – I’m just wondering if everyone else thinks it looks the same as the ones they were complaining about???

* Emails For You…. A 1st for me!

Let me explain the 1st for me part first…lol
So far – I’ve avoided promoting things on the warrior forum.
Here’s my logic – 1 – people are losing paypal accounts when something goes wrong, and 2 – I really do begrude PAYING to be an affiliate and promote someone elses product! 3 – I genuinely feel this will (if it hasn’t already) lead to people promoting anything just to recover their monthly subscription – instead of just promoting what they believe will help their subscribers!

There – that’s my tuppence worth on that!

So with that being said – I have just paid my dues to tell you about a product I’ve bought just this morning! – BECAUSE I REALLY DO feel it will be a great help to many of my readers!

Sure the money was mentioned later on, but the big thing for me was that John went into a lot of detail about the product and how it would benefit my readers.

Whereas the BIG guys in the other example didn’t even give a proper explanation of what the product is?
And yet they have a list of EVERY BIG name on the net already committed to promoting for the big prizes and recognition etc.

I’m glad to be a minnow at times!

How are you this freezing Cold Sunday evening?
Yep – it’s 7pm as I start writing this and it’s started freezing again in here in the UK!
I only managed to use my car for the first time in a week yesterday…lol

In case you didn’t know we’re snowed in As as usually happens when we get a bit of snow – The UK grinds to a halt …lol
That said it has been bad here (especially up North)

In Fact – My Saturday meet up was the first time in 3 years that NO One made it!
Not to worry – I have plenty to be getting on with…lol

I’m actually working more hours oonline than I ever have I think??
My usual 2 – 3 hours a day has doubled and I’m feeling it!

(Don’t laugh, I really am not used to it….. On a serious note I’m very grateful that I do it through choice and not because I have to. I do need to get my income levels back up, but I still get to choose when and for how long I work)

So I’ve been working away at my VideoSalesLetter Project, AND at the same time I’ve been adding more and more content (along with new partner Craig) to the BIG site I mentioned briefly in the past few weeks.

I won’t tell you what it is yet, but I do mention it twice in the mp3 I have for you today (See Below)

Anyway – speaking of today, I’m writing late in the day because Rachel had me up all night….

Yeah – nothing rude...(tut tut) lol – We wallpapered her lounge from 10pm last noght til 7.30am this morning… So after that I had a lazy morning recovering from no sleep

Anyways – in other news, I’m still struggling to find products to recommend, and I see most the big guys are still using the same launch pattern of upsell after upsell after upsell
Crikey – they must have to raise some mega cash for Christmas…

It’s a big affiliate marketplace, Starting with what you do with a mouse, followed by where you no longer like keeping your cash…
Then what’s standing still on UK roads and the last word is a old word for soldier,
EDIT: – After sending this to my list I had an eamil asking me what all the cryptic clues related to…. It seems I didn’t think it through properly in world wide terms!
So mouse is point and C—K, the money clue was B–K, Standing still on UK roads T—–C, and another term for soldiers of old W—–R.
I hope that makes it more understandable

Hi Everyone,

Well things are getting more and more ‘back to normal’.
After completeing the task of getting most of my sites back online, and then sorting this months updates to RandysMoreMonthly membership downloads,  I’ve finally started my promotions and working on new products
It’ll be a while cos I’m having to struggle through on some techy bits, but once again – I also have help from good friends!

At this moment I have THREE new sites in the pipeline:
One I can tell you will be a tutorial on how to create VideoSalesLetters – not bad from someone who didn’t really know how…lol

The other two will be partnerships, another with Anton who I did GuruBypass with…. He has developed a way to make $100 – $200 weekly, with no IM or marketing knowledge.
(He does seem good at finding ways to avoid buying the gurus products and yet still make a reasonable chunk of dollars…lol)

The other new site will be a massive collaboration with Craig Dawber who wrote google supremacy. We’ve met once or twice and talked at length about ethical marketing in todays IM world. So when he asked if I was interested in partnering up on a coaching style site – I couldn’t wait to add my tuppence worth of what I’d like to see in it, and how I think it could and should be to really help people move their businesses forwards…

As usual – make sure you’re on my lists to hear about these sites first, as I already know I wont be asking most of the big names to promote them, as I don’t want to owe favours to those whom I feel are just in it for the cash with no regard for their subscribers…..
Speaking of which – see the next section for more obvious lies – and how I think it’ affect IM in general.

* More Lies On Big Launches!

As usual – I’ve seen a few emails for the latest of the big launches. I’ve not promoted the ones I saw last week, as I was still waiting for the promised review copies to be sent… which never came…lol
So then it was a case of starting to go through a few and check if I would be happy buying them??

Ignoring the claims on the salespage, I checked some of the reviews on warrior forum, and basically – it put me off for the most part!
One for example was a big launch but gave no indication of who the product was by???
(so that one had me researching the company behind it – only to find it was by a team who have already sold their product in the past… so this must be a new updated and improved version??)

Well – the reputation of the creators, and the comments I’ve seen coming from their written words on the past lead me to believe that profit is their main focus – hence I didn’t buy!
(and that’s why I’m not mentioning the product name – it might well be OK, but my decision was based on other factors)

The other big launch that had me laughing…. and again – I’ve NOT bought it! – Is for one that yet again, Might Well Be Great….BUT
The thing that stopped me from buying was the blatant use of lies on the salespage!

When will they get it – that if we can catch them lying to us to sell the thing – do they really believe we’ll trust their pitch that it does what it says it will???

So here we are with a product that cost $100,000 to have made!

Then it’s limited to just 199 copies to be sold…
47×199= $9353

As someone on warrior forum said…..
“If there is a $200 upsell and all 199 people bought into it still only comes to 39800.
39800 + 9353 = 49153. just to break even they still need 50847.
So the 50847 gets written off as a loss in the business? or goodwill?
Clearly these guys are the nicest people in the world. What a way to give back to the community.”

Now that would be all well and good thinking that maybe the’re just losing money to build a list of buyers etc., and they could be just giving back out of kindness and the long term goodwill they’d get which could lead to massive sales of more products down the line….

HOWEVER – when asked why the site was down and people couldn’t get their downloads – one of the creators replied with an answer that (usual answer) they had so many visitors that it crashed the servers …lol – but also went on to mention their 5000 sales ALREADY!!!

5000 -?? … what happened to the 199 limit??

So what Am I saying?
Basically – that the lies used on the sales video made me NOT consider buying the product… Sorry Man, I don’t care how good it MIGHT be – If I can’t trust your sales techniques, How can I really trust that it will do what you claim it will?

End of my rant!
(I would like to state that the product may be the best thing since sliced bread – all I’m saying is why I wouldn’t be buying, so this in no way is making any claims about what the product can and can’t do!… just so we’re clear on that before I get more emails from owners blacklisting me )

* MoreMonthly Updates + I got a domain back….LOL

As mentioned in my opening, I’ve added the downloads for December to RandysMoreMonthly.com (and Terry will be adding them to MoreMonthlyPlus.info by Monday I suspect)
I think there are around 30 IM related downloads between the main download area and the bonus section in the forum … so plenty to keep all members busy yet again

In other news – I finally heard back from the legal people, and after sending my passport and a letter to numerous places – I have the domain MoreMonthly.com back in my accounts…
TYPICAL – I get two sites up to replace it and finally get back my old domain!!! …lol

I’ve just set up a forward on it to make use ot over two years of backlinks etc.
The downside was that the hackers were at least still hosting all my images…hehe – so now there are missing omages all over the place…lol – oh well – I’m still glad I got it back

Now if only I could hear something similar about wizardresponder – at least then I could add a note to the page and ensure people knew the site was gone and they should contact me to get their lists!

* Catch Up, back from hols

Hi All, …How are you?
I’d bet all the UK readers are looking forward to this last week of the school holidays…lol

Rachel, myself and her two girls got back from our week away on Friday… and what a shame it was to come home

We all had a great time on holiday (Vacation).
We did some simple things like playing in the sand and sea on the beach. Discovering shells and sea life in the rock pools and waters edge.

And we had some lovely evenings watching some live shows ranging from magic shows to singers, comedians, circus performers and dancers, as well as a few disco dancing partys for the girls with all their favourite party tunes.

And we mustn’t forget 3 days of trips around shops!!! (Actually – it wasn’t that bad thankfully… in fact Rachel doesn’t like shopping with me much as I like to browse everything, and she just wants to buy stuff…lol)

One thing I did notice was how much ‘Marketing’ is done on holiday!
It seems as though every show, every event and every bit of fun that was planned for the children involved some form of upsell!

Be it photos with the stars, soft toys of the kids fav characters, even spray on tattoos related to the events!
(These guys know how to design fun to make money!- AND they know the psychology of getting the kids to emotionally blackmail parents into spending money time after time…lol)

So now we’re home and there were 3500 emails to get through! I only answered support tickets that needed answering while I was away, as I promised not to spend all my time on the pc!

The downside being that it creates a new habit of doing nothing…lol

So now it’s taken me all weekend just to catch up and get through my emails… and try to force myself into spending more time at the pc again! – So hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be back up to my 3 hours a day or more…hehe

OH – BEFORE I FORGET

Right – back to online stuff I suppose?
While I was away I had a ticket letting me know that 7 of the 40+ download links in next months updates for

Those have now been re-uploaded so they should be fine now. I’ve also been asked if people can somehow get access to the previous 300+ downloads.
So I will be trying to set a page up for that with a one off price for all.

Meanwhile – In this email I have a mentioned some (not all) of the things that caught my attention in the heaps of emails I’ve been through since we got back….

Starting with another ‘don’t buy recommendation’ to save you wasting your ca$h!
In case you missed my last email – I mentioned that one sale that was on before I went away was for products that have been around for 2 years… and yet they still pitched it like it was an exclusive offer!!

* Another Don’t Buy… am I too late?

One of the things I saw promoted a heck of a lot while I was away was something with the initials ATA

Straight away I noticed one big name I respect (Kevin Riley) promote it and say how great it sounded….
Only to get another email explaining that he felt he should let people know about it as part of his service to subscribers…BUT that he wouldn’t be using it himself due top the ‘shady’ aspects of it???
That lit up the warning lights straight away for me!
So on getting home and seeing an email from one of our reader
(Thanks Sandra)
Where she had bought the product and wrote:

“Dear Randy,
I bought the ATA and have just asked for a refund,
I feel that this is going to get all that use it
banned from Face book as soon as the method is discovered.

I don’t like using illegal means to generate traffic,
I will say they explained  how to make ads in face book
and plenty of fish very well but I can foresee
many affiliates getting into trouble with this..

They did not say what it was until after buying it.
Its all about uploading a script to your hosting and
cloaking your url so face book staff approve your ad
I have had emails from everyone asking me to buy this
even Tony Shepherd who I thought would have more sense

I must admit I was surprised to see Tony Shepherd‘s name mentioned? As well as Kevins, the marketer I saw the email from initially.
I have to admit I was pleased to see another good guy, whom I’ve promoted in the past,  Stuart Turnbull, steer well clear and even sent a video out to his lists warning against it.

So although I’ve not bought and checked the product, On the strength of what I’ve seen from people I respect and trust – I would certainly steer clear myself and recommend you are careful if you were considering it!
