I thought I’d take a break from what I’m supposed to be doing (Don’t tell Craig!)...
It’s just that we have so much going on and being added to Internet Marketing Apprentice, that the workload just keeps growing instead of decreasing!
We know our members are loving it – but boy could I do with a break to just meander around the net like the old days…haha
OH as I’m sure I’ll forget to mention it… On of the things I’ve done, is sort a ‘normal’ salespage for the site. This is to help affiliates promote it and to help regular people see what it’s all about
(We had a few people tell us there is SO MUCH in the site that the main page just doesn’t do it justice!)
So here’s the page I created…. and SORRY if it’s not hypey enough… But I thought we’d start with an ethical page and see how that converts…. might have to add a hypey one later…lol
See what you think (and do let me know)
http://www.randolfsmith.com/likes/IMAtrial
Especially if you think it needs hyping up to compete with some of the rubbish out there that sell false promises!
On the home front…
We’ve enjoyed a good few days of lovely Sunshine here in the North Of England ![]()
So yes… I have been sneaking out and off the pc to take a walk or two and appreciate the greenery.
Rachel and I also volunteered to accompany Felicity and her school friends on a trip to MonkPark Farm to see all the animals, feed the lambs and stroke a few small rodents…lol
As well as enjoying a couple of nights at the cinema over the last two Sundays followed by a meal etc.
But hey – as for browsing online stuff, I literally haven’t had much of a chance to keep up with all the usual launches!
But I did find a couple of sites well worth a visit.
(see below for details of them)
Anyway – to Wrap up this section… I do need to add a reminder that my Northallerton Meet Up Is This Coming Saturday for anyone wishing to attend.
http://www.randysmith.co.uk/NorthallertonMeets/booking.html
So I’ll get the rest of this written, and then see if Rachel will let me do any more bits for IMA …lol
Seriously, – you would not believe the amount of work Craig and I have been putting into the site… More training Videos, more pdf’s, heaps of frum posts to reply to, and yet more plans for even more future content!
We really should be charging what the big boys do!
But right now you can still take a trial and lock in a membership for less than a cheap report!
Don’t forget to let me know what you think of the ethical salespage.:

Attention: Just 31 Days From Now YOU Could Be Flipping Your Own WordPress Plugin For Three, Four Or Five Figures!
http://www.randolfsmith.com/likes/PluginCash
——————————————–
Yeah – That headline did grab my attention….
But quite honestly, I didn’t take a proper look when I got shown the site first time around!
The site is one of my very good friend Tony Shepherd and his business partner Tony Newton……. And Tony did mention it in one of our chats on skype.
I already knew that for the past few months they have been charging $1,000 per month to personally coach clients in how to create, monetize then flip WordPress plugins…. From scratch.
And their coaching program has been sold out for much of this time.
So then they’ve created a ‘nothing held back’ four week coaching course based on their $1,000 a month program ,…
…..but at a FRACTION of the cost.
http://www.randolfsmith.com/likes/PluginCash
Honestly – I still didn’t look at it.
For one I never had the time, And secondly – I still figured it would be too techy for me to understand!
I mean – Over the past few months the pair of them have built a complete business based around creating and flipping plugins from scratch… to over $104,000
In fact they’ve refined their unique techniques so much that they recently took a project from blank sheet of paper to $7,867.00 in profit..
…IN JUST 13 DAYS!
Well they’ve re-opened their 4 week program ![]()
And they’re now offering to teach a select group of people everything they know for a fraction of the price of their personal coaching program.
The first time this opened it sold out and had to be closed in just 7 days, so I can’t guarantee how long this will be available
You must act now if you want to secure your place.
The BIG question is would you want to??
Well I finally took a look inside the training, and I have to say I was gobsmacked at how comprehensive it is!
They literally leave no stone unturned!
In Fact…
Some of the Bonus Training alone would be great for ANY website business – let along their plugin stuff!
So yeah – as is Usually the case with Tonys stuff, I am STILL happy to recommend it, and Actually would encourage yopu to take a look today!
http://www.randolfsmith.com/likes/PluginCash
You too could be seeing the rewards from your
very first plugin flip just 31 days from now!
And I would hope you show me it (at a discount or free)
lol
Do let me know if you get stuck into this… I think it’s a great idea complete with fantastic training!

* In The Word Of MontyPython – Now for Something
completely Different!
If you’re sick of all the Internet marketing related promotions… But still want to look at something that WILL help you…
That doesn’t involve, Facebook this, Traffic that, Twitter the other… Well, Here’s something completely different!
(Oh and sorry to my younger readers who may not have heard the MontyPython term before…lol)
So – how about a bit of NLP?
http://www.randolfsmith.com/likes/NLP
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is becoming increasingly popular, especially with high profile people like Derren Brown and Tony Robbins in the marketplace.
The really interesting thing about the NLP niche is that it’s a cross-over niche.
NLP appeals to people who want to boost their careers.
It appeals to people who want to increase online and offline sales. NLP is of real interest to people in the dating niche… I could go on.
But.. How do I know?
Well an online friend recently ran a special one-off NLP offer that generated over 300 new subscribers and 40 sales. From a small group (Less than 1,500) of internet marketers with no overt interest in NLP.
Therefore I figured a healthy protion of my readers, customers, and subscribers will be interested in NLP.
So, here’s the deal…
An old contact from 2007 showed me his brand new “NLP In 30 Days” package a week or so ago. (He has a PhD)
I was impressed enough to think about mentioning it to my readers… though it did take me a few days to have a proper read (They always use some big words in NLP – so even with the explanations, It meant I had to read it and not skim it)
NLP In 30 Days is aimed at people who are keen to know more about NLP and yet may be intimidated by the complex language and jargon.
The product is written in plain, easy to understand language and offers the reader practical advice on how to integrate NLP to improve their daily lives.
(as well as using the big words that they just do… I guess they have to for it to be fully understood)
The “student” gets a daily lesson together with a daily excercise that helps them to take action and improve their understanding.
NLP is a really hot topic with a very high demand.
People are looking for down to earth, easy to understand information. They are looking for immediate benefits, practical advice and solutions that can be implemented quickly and easily.
NLP in 30 Days offers exactly that. The Revolution in Neuro Linguistic Programming
NLP can be a life changing tool that will help you to gain personal power and influence.
And hey… If you read it carefully, you’ll also find some great ways to ‘word things’ on your salespages and advertisments!
So anyway, I know this wont appeal to everyone… But if it’s something you’ve always wished was explained in a fashion you could learn from, and do so quickly..
Then do take a look:

Hi Randy
Just been checking over the ethical salespage.
It reads really well and using the bike scenerio..its great , a lot of people out there will be able to relate to that one.
Had a peek at the plugin cash link, looks like a great product by the 2 Tony’s.
Cheers
Zahid
Hi Randy,
I didn’t think it was too non-hypey, and I love the bike riding analogy. The feeling I got was that you two are sincere, honest marketers who will have my back if I join. Is that what you were going for? It did seem a little long to me, but that might just be my preference for a bit shorter copy.
Thanks for sharing.
Peggy
P.S. And no review could be complete from me without mentioning a typo – parallel only should have one r. Unless that’s the British spelling and in that case, just ignore me
@ Zahid .. Cheers – And I look forward to seeing you on Saturday
@ Peggy .. Hope you got my email reply yesterday?..And yeah – just a genuine site with a lot of help – but do people want that or would they rather have another push, click, no work solution pitch (which we know don’t exsist… but hey they keep buying!!)
Errmmm .. spelling… whistles quietly whilst running off in a panic to check!

Hi Randy,
I like your ethical sales page very much.
If you were to replace it with a hyped up version then yes; you may well get more signups… but will the people addicted to that kind of hype be the kind of subscriber who will stick with IMA… or will they get bored after a month or two and cancel their membership and go off chasing the next bright shiny false promise offered by a random wanna-be guru? I think it is much better to take your down-to-earth sales letter approach which seems aimed at newbies genuinely wanting to build a real business and who will remain members for the long haul. Are you happy gaining long term members with this sales page or do you want your churn rate to skyrocket towards 100% with hyped up trash?
Your down-to-earth no-hype approach on your sales page reflects the honesty and integrity of your comments and reviews on your blog. Start pumping out hype filled trash and your reputation, and your followers, will disappear in an instant.
Just be yourself and you will build a faithful and dedicated membership base for IMA just as you have done for your blog.

lol – Yeah – I don’t think I could even write hyped up copy if I tried…lol
I would cringe in the process and not want my name adding to it….lol

Hi Randy,
I thought the sales page was direct and honest.
It read easy and the bike analogy was perfect.
I just don’t have time to read through those long sales pages anymore.
I get bored…and start skimming. I did the same with yours after a short while.
But here’s the thing…it was an easy read even when I skimmed it.
That’s exactly what you need.
Now I just need to get busy and use my membership properly

Hi Randy,
I think your sales pages is bang on, I had someone else read it and didn’t tell why for
.
They were impressed and wanted to know what it was all about, I suppose it left them curious; so I told them of course why I got them to read it, I wanted to see their reaction at how good a job the sales pitch had captured there attention.
Where did you pick up the new theme – white background with the shadow? it looks good.

Hi Randy, looked at your introduction page, really great, simply explained, and direct, will you be running your program for much longer?? why I asked is the time is not right for me at the moment, to much on, I should of signed up before. If it is on going then let me know, as I always say, you are In the top 5 marketers I trust, and your even prepared to give 12 weeks training for free, thats because you are a honest Imer, I am sure anyone who have known you for a while would go streight to the signup and skip the free course, i know I would.Once again Randy, all the best with your venture and wishing you and Craig great success
Hi Randy
I emailed you yesterday instead of putting my reply here. See, most people agree with me about the hype and your reputation. Hype isn’t you and that is why so many people follow you and the main reason I do.
I also said I prefer shorter copy, people have short attention spans these days and are too busy to read reams of sales pitch. Having said that, I will extract the bits I want for my promo. You and Craig have done a fantastic job with this site. Please don’t spoil it now. It is the ONLY website that I have seen that will give newbies any hope of suceeding online ( and they do not come much newer and with such little knowledge as me). I have never believed in anything online as much as I believe in this site.
Regards
Dee
Hi Randy
I like the way you’ve used the bike theme all the way through, it gives it a flow. I agree with others who think it portrays you as a couple of guys who genuinely want to to help people & I’d hate to see you make it more ‘hypey”.
That said, I personally don’t like such long sales pages and just skim them or head straight to the bottom to check the price. That’s just me, we’re all different, but it seemed to take a long time telling people why they need IMA before you actually say what people will get for their money – yes, I know what you get is great value, but will some people stop reading before they get there?
Cheers
Trish
Thanks for all the feedback Guys
I’m VERY PLEASED you all like the Ethical Approach!
@Kathy – glad it was still an easy read for skimmers (it does tend to be experienced people who skim most…lol)
@ Eamon – Hope you used an affiliate link in case they come back and join….lol – The theme is down to Craig… my share was the words and pics…lol
@ Malcolm – Yep – we’ll be accepting new members for a long while yet, and the price will stay that cheap til we have a couple of hundred members.. Though we might think about charging for the coaching at some point in the future??… but not for a while yet.
@ Dee – As I said in email – You’re locked in at the startimng price, And we don’t wanyt to get hypey and expensive… regardless of how much we’re told we should…lol – I just wanted to check that my readers were still happy with how we did things
@ Trish – Like I said to Kathy – when you’ve been around a while you do tend to skim pages… not a problem if you caught the basics of the theme of it
PHEW – remind me not to sleep again…haha, I miss so much not being awake 24/7
lol

Hi Randy,
Excellent sales copy. You really strike emotional cords with the bicycles great analogy. I like the way you go off explaining the way it is out there with other internet marketing products and the way yours is so different. Very effective. You should use how you went about this sales page in your Sales letter ABC products.

Hi Randy, most have commented on the sales page so I’ll comment on something else!
NLP – I was interested to read your comment about people disliking jargon and technical language they may not understand, as the principle of NLP IS about understanding – but yes, a lot of Doctorate holders like to use technical jargon, they believe it makes them sound much more clever than everyone else (I should know, I did a Doctorate!). Great to hear about someone who has gone against the traditional grain and written something in plain english – always my preferred choice, much to the chagrin of my supervisor!
Enjoy the journey.

Hello Randy,
The salespage is first class in my opinion. It’s something we can all relate to and the images add to that fact, some more than others.. ur hum
The wording is honest and put in a way that we can all relate to and the personal aspect that you add to it adds trust. Like i said Randy First class!!
As you know my time is being taken up with other things off line at the moment, but i’m really interested in signing up Randy, how long is your offer?
I have been getting your emails ok this end.

Oh Randy, I’m so used to reading hypey sales pages that I was a little dissapointed that yours wasn’t (lol).
I love the way you used riding a bike and internet marketing to pull you in and take you on a journey.
I’d join after reading that but I can’t because I’m already a member (lol).
Seriously now…
Their certainly are people on IMA looking out for you and helping you along the way. The support I’ve had on their from you, Craig and the other members has been incredible and you just can’t get that kind of support and encouragement from anywhere else.
